The Clinical Laboratory Science major is a unique program in which students complete their first three years of coursework at the Baylor University campus, and then their fourth year is spent in a 12-16 month clinical training program at one of our affiliated institutions. Currently, our affiliated institutions are Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas; Baylor Scott & White Hospital, in Temple, Texas; and Tartleton State University in Fort Worth, Texas. Upon successful completion of this course of study, the degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in Clinical Laboratory Science will be conferred. Additionally, students will qualify for the examination and certification by the Board of Certification of the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
